THE HOME FRONT

I have a pink bear sitting on my desk, calico critters on my bar, toy trucks on my coffee table, and tea cups on my dining room table.
All is good on the home front.
This weekend was a long, extended birthday weekend for my niece.
We celebrated with burger bags and a cake box on a Friday night, breakfast with the BEST pancakes, chili, and hash brown casserole from The Toasted Yolk and finally snuggled in bed on a late Sunday afternoon.
Tonight, we’ll officially celebrate with burgers and cake.
