Every year, this is the one meal I look forward to. This year we’re having corn chowder, mash potatoes, green beans, corn bread, pies, and obvs turkey.
Our table is set for eight and the cooking begins tonight!
Today I’m most thankful for my sister taking the lead in the kitchen. Lord knows the only thing I’ll be doing is taking photos of all her delicious food. This year will be the first year I don’t work, so I’ll get to be sous chef for a day. By definition, I’m second in command, so that means I get to taste test EVERYTHING.
So this Thanksgiving year, I’m thankful I get to share the kitchen with my sister, a dinner table with my family, and a morning of sleeping in.
