If you love classic, minimal, sophisticated, and luxurious items, keep reading.

To elevate your brand, one of the key pieces that I recommend every client to have on the day of their shoot is the classic t-shirt.

Of course, this can’t be any t-shirt from Target or Marshalls.

This has to be a very well thought out purchase. When looking for a t-shirt, you want to look sophisticated and well put together for your brand.

Cheaply made t-shirts will be made of synthetic materials, can feel too baggy or too tight in certain areas and won’t last very long.

When making this purchase, look for cotton t-shirts and opt for neutral colors like black, gray, navy, and white. After you have the basic colors, you can add more fun colors to your wardrobe. Make sure when trying these on that the sleeve meets at the mid of your bicep.

The great thing about a t-shirt is that you can wear it many different ways all year round. You can dress it up or dress it down.

I love pairing a soft t-shirt with wool trouser, a well-fitted pair of jeans, or linen shorts in the summer.

This wardrobe essential even looks great with cardigans and blazers.
