We arrived into the city of Paris by train with two North Face bags and no clue where to go. It was cold and rainy, and my first option was to run back down the escalators and wait for the rain to go away. Along Rue de Rome, we stood outside the train station watching the locals rush to work. Across the street, a piece of America followed us across the Atlantic. With good coffee, good pastries, and some amazing Wifi, Starbucks saved the day.
We walked the Parisian streets to the Eiffel Tower,
Notre Dame,
The Louvre, d’Orsay,
and my favorite museum, The Rodin.
I enjoyed walking down the cobble roads with Raul, laughing about our Norwegian lobster, eating the not so Pho we had down a little alley, sharing the coconut flan and fruits in the middle of the nights, and sometimes finishing all the snacks before Raul could wake up.
