For two days, West and Albany was our home. Our hotel faced the Hudson River and sat in the middle of the Financial District. Around the corner from our hotel, was my favorite late night deli, Joe’s Gourmet Deli. Our first visit ensured our next visit thanks to the gentleman behind the counter for the complimentary lox.
We stayed in the beautiful Marriott Hotel surrounded by family. On the morning of the wedding day, we had breakfast at George’s. It seems like everyone from the hotel had the same idea. I indulged! I had french toast (my all time favorite cheat day breakfast) smothered in butter, syrup, and strawberries. A breakfast for champs.
After breakfast, we went up to Steffen’s room where all the groomsmen and groomsmaid were popping champagne.
Here, we are getting a history lesson on the boutonniere.
As the groom’s party practiced their moves for the night, I joined the bride and her bridesmaids.
New York was good to us. We expected rain, instead, we got the largest soft box mother nature could offer us. The light was amazing! We couldn’t have asked for anything better. Love + Perfect Bride + Perfect Groom + Perfect Light = Perfect Day!
The party was just getting started.
