Houston portraits with grandparents
Behind the scenes at Houston Family Photography
I photograph families with softness, with joy, and with space to just be. No forced smiles. No perfect poses. Just the golden, fleeting magic of your real life.
My friends would certainly agree that I am not the shyest of the bunch, but put me in a room full of strangers, and I’ll only wish there was a foxhole I could crawl into. The strangest part of how I met Wendy is that it was nerve wrecking for Neto to watch me approach a total stranger. It was like being under a microscope. I’m on these missions to find the perfect everything most of the time. The perfect shoes, perfect dress, perfect enchiladas, perfect models, etc; I’m always waiting for a sign. What better sign than when you put the model right in my face. Neto said, “Look, your next model.” Certainly, that worked out beautifully.
With the perfect team, perfect models, and best second shooter, my search for perfection was over.
Clearly, I have mad comedian skills.
Many thanks to the amazing team that made this shoot possible.
