I don’t know what it is like to have kids, but I imagine that the love I have for my nephews and niece is a great of a love a parent has for their children. I love that they are so innocent, but sometimes it scares me. Children are like a sponge, and if you teach them good or bad things, they will absorb both. I strive to be a good aunt to all of them and teach them all good things.
The day Luke was born, my whole perspective of children changed, especially when his personality began blooming. I don’t get to see him as often as I would like to, and when I begin to miss him, I begin replaying the Macklemore Thrift Shop song he sings along to.
I’m gonna pop some tags
Only got twenty dollars in my pocket
I – I – I’m hunting, looking for a come-up

I love you Luke! Happy Birthday baby!
